- Spell every passenger name exactly as required for ticketing and consistent with the intended travel document.
- Check every date, airport and connection.
- Confirm whether an airport change or overnight transit is involved.
- Read the baggage allowance for the actual fare.
- Ask whether the ticket can be changed or cancelled and what costs may apply.
- Check the quote currency, validity and payment deadline.
- Confirm which extras—such as seats, meals, hotels, transfers or insurance—are included or excluded.

After ticketing

- Review the airline booking reference and all flight details.

- Arrive within the airline’s recommended time.
- Check that baggage tags show the correct destination.
- Keep boarding passes and baggage receipts.
- Follow security instructions and monitor gate information.
- At a connection, confirm whether baggage continues automatically and proceed to the correct transfer route.

On arrival
- Check that all baggage has arrived before leaving the collection area.
